BSKT documentary film screened in DDU History Department

BSKT (Buddh se kabir tak trust) Documentary films were screened with special reference to the BA first semester course

On 3 Nov 2023 “Buddha Se Kabir Tak” screened a documentary and two short films “Aao Diya Bane” and “Riot- The real story of Unreal” in the History Department of Gorakhpur University.
In this screening Prof. Chandrabhushan Gupta ‘Ankur’ ji had special support.

In the first film “From Buddha to Kabir”, a brief introduction to the flow of common thoughts was shown.
Subsequently, an attempt was made to promote the Indian art of making earthen lamps as well as the overall culture and communal harmony of India through the short film “Aao Diya Bane…”. The ill effects of social media on the society were demonstrated through the last short film “RIOT”. In the next episode of the program, Head of the Department, Prof. Chandrabhushan Gupta (Ankur) highlighted the importance of the documentary films displayed and sought feedback from the students. Shailendra Kabir, the director of all these films, was personally present on this occasion and while addressing the students, he introduced them to the process and requirement of making his films. The students requested him that whenever he makes his new film, its premium should be deposited in the History Department.
At last Dr. Shweta concluded the program by expressing her gratitude.
